Class Descriptions
Chair Yoga
Offered as both an in-person class and online. The chair class includes breathing,  meditation, deep opening and alignment with seated asanas, and basic standing stretches. Benefits include a calm mind, soothed nervous system, better breathing due to pranayama techniques , greater flexibility in the body, Improved balance as there will be standing postures next to the chair, realigned body, and increased energy flow.
Private Session
Adjusted to your level
Work one-on-one on your alignment building confidence with the knowledge that you are also building your practice one pose at a time. Expect to gain strength, flexibility, and better balance. These sessions are tailored to your interests and needs. Pose and other requests are welcomed.
The Heart of Yoga Limited Class Series
All levels
Join us virtually for our first online workshop. The Heart of Yoga will be led by Janna Sage Peterson, a RYT 500 hour instructor. It is a four week series to discover a deeper connection between your body, mind, and spirit. Classes will include gentle chair-assisted yoga, a breath work practice, and conclude in a guided meditation. Open to beginners and seasoned practitioners, alike! Props such as a block or strap are helpful, but not required. NOTE: 100% of all proceeds will be donated to a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the needs of its local community.
